WIP Wednesday: October 24th

20121024-081405.jpg While my blogging has been sparse, my knitting has been a bit better. I had a bit of a WIP-splosion when I moved in early September, and I am still working on those hastily started projects.

From the top we have: - Pomatomus socks for Carla - a crocheted stole (I'm about three rows in) - plain socks that have only been started and have only had 1 row knit on them - Juneberry shawl in a local wool that is similar to what I think Shelter must be like - Smile and Wave fingerless mitts - Flukra shawl in some Tosh Lace that I have been trying to knit for almost 2 years

So I think I need to get knitting, especially if I want to participate in the Tanis Fiber Arts KAL in November.

WIP Wednesday: August 1st

20120801-160950.jpg Okay, I'm trying out my iPhone Wordpress app to post this today, apologies for any oddities.

So I'm flying along on my Ravellenic socks. I'm really liking Kim's merino nylon sock base and the colors are just great.

My goal is to have both pairs done by the closing ceremonies of the London Olympics and with a lazy 4 day weekend coming up, I'm right on track to meet that challenge.

WIP Wednesday: May 2nd

If you don't recognize much in the picture (aside from that stole I never seem to work on and the socks that live in my purse without a deadline) that is okay, I finished off a bunch of stuff in the past two weeks, including the other pair of socks and two cowls. Now time to cast on two new cowls (including one that is a test knit so will not often be featured here) and a new pair of socks (which I forgot to include in the picture).

Oh and start my warping plan for my loom, I finally found something that should work as a warp divider so I can get weaving again and after my talk about spinning at guild tonight I should have some fun stuff to put on the wheel.
