There is something about violently pink/coral socks that makes the lingering effects of winter, seem a little less sad.
I finished these socks a month ago, but after documenting them in Ravelry and my own insane yarntracking spreadsheet I put them in basket next to my desk and promptly forgot about them.
Over the weekend, as I was folding my freshly washed socks, I was wondering why they weren't in my sock drawer. I had a mild panic attack as I use the communal washing machines on the ground floor of my apartment building and if they were missing, they were going to be really missing.
After almost gviing up, I sat down at my desk, remembered where I had stashed them nearly a month earlier and pulled them on!
I'm so glad to have these right now, because this freezing cold weather is just the pits (although the sun is shining which is really, really, really nice). So what are you doing to help keep the last dregs of winter at bay?
